There are so many neighbourhoods in Stony Plain, it’s hard to pick a favourite! Each offers different amenities, a range of distances from school, shops and parks, and is unique in its own way. Today I’ll touch on a few more of my favourites.
Genesis on the Lakes is one of my favourites in Stony Plain.It’s a well planned community located in the southwest corner of town. The upscale neighborhood is centered around natural features like a 7 acre lake, 2 ponds and network of walking trails.
All homes in the development adhere to architectural guidelines to ensure a high-end, cohesive aesthetic throughout the community.
The neighborhood offers a mix of housing styles to suit different lifestyles, including multi-family units, single-family homes, and estate lots up to a half-acre in size.
At the community entrance, Genesis on the Lakes features a commercial plaza with amenities like a gas station, a restaurant, a convenience store, and a salon.
The Forest Green neighborhood in Stony Plain, Alberta, is a family-oriented community with affordable and diverse housing options.
Located just west of the Stony Plain Golf Course, it is known for its many parks, green spaces, and proximity to downtown amenities
. The community offers attached condos, half-duplexes, and detached single-family homes, making it accessible to a wide range of home buyers.
The neighborhood is popular with growing families, offering parks, walking trails, and green spaces and home to Forest Green School, a kindergarten to grade 6 school.
The Fairways and Southcreek are residential neighborhoods located in the southeastern part of Stony Plain, Alberta.
Both are situated near the Stony Plain Golf Course, offering residents access to green spaces and local amenities.
Fairways is the more established of the two, while Southcreek is a newer, developing community.
The Fairways is a community with both single-family detached homes and a gated condominium area. It sits next to the Stony Plain Golf Course and offers scenic views and convenient access to walking trails, parks and sports fields.
Southcreek is a more recently established area, featuring modern homes and is focused on single family and duplex homes.
- This area is a very convenient location, Positioned on the eastern edge of town, it has easy access to Highways 16A and 628 for commuting.
